Just kidding :D This is pretty sick. Seems to clip a bit though dunno if it's just the bass distorting or something.

Tremulos responds:

It shouldn't actually be clipping (thanks to modern day limiting) but I did make everything really loud and the bass drum might be muddling around with the actual bass. Thanks for the kind words!

Mastering on those drums sold it for me. Snare sounds perfectly crisp.

Drop is great, didn't disappoint me. But one of the instrument wobbles is very loud. Maybe turn it down a bit and this track would be perfect

SytherGD responds:

hehehe. sorry

Didn't enjoy this one as much as Starlight. Mastering doesn't seem as well done. It's too muddy, mainly it sounds like too much is going on at once. That kick is really overpowering as well and doesn't sound tuned to the track. If you're going for a sub kick, try and tailor it to your chords/bassline notes.

Vatriox responds:

Well, thank you for your feedback. I appreciate your criticism, and I will keep it in mind the next time I work on a track.

Sounds lovely dude, great upbeat track. Well mastered.

Vatriox responds:

Wonderful, I'm glad you liked it!

Sounds great man, literally perfect video game music.

MassiveMarioLuigi700 responds:

Thanks, I made it for a game I'm working on.

Well mastered, however, snare is a bit dry, sticks out a bit and I didn't feel like it fit.

Fucking solid dubstep though dude, loved the drop and the wobbles. Also LOVE the filtering effect you used to introduce the drop. Haven't heard your other stuff, but this is solid enough to know you're headed in the right direction my dude.

DJCat12 responds:

Hehe, thanks man! And thanks for the feedback, i am trying to finish a new track and i need to take care of some things, hehe :3

Sounds great man, solid drum and bass.

For some reason though, even though it's beautifully mastered. Some of the instruments sound a bit dry, not sure if that is intentional?

aliaspharow responds:

I think I see what you mean... i think im missing some midrange richness on a few of my instruments. that being said I did intentionally leave a lot of space in the mix for future instruments. I'm glad you liked it! :)

Incredible use of sidechain. Bit more variation would have been nice, but it's a lovely piece! Piano/Bells were my favourite part in the breakdown. It's so calm and angelic.

Would you mind checking out my recent in return?

Solize responds:

Yeah the transition was kind of half-assed, kind of something I'm working on in general, thanks again for the kind compliments!

This is incredible. Melody made me smile right from the start. Mastering sounds great, bassline gives the track some presence. Can't find a fault with it!

Solize responds:

Thank you! Had a lot of fun making this one :)

Lengthy, i did want to quit halfway through. Sounds great though, I think you need to work on leveling and spend more time mastering.

Sound choice is great, I love the bassline personally, it's the highlight for me.

Cethic responds:

I only had about 5 days to write, mix and master the entire track. I'm not used to having to rush a project.

Glad you liked it regardless.

Been producing a while on and off. Have a youtube channel with the same name if you'd like to see music/gaming content :D
