The paragonX9 comment below definitely hits home. Definitely has that energy and composition style but obviously this is uniquely your own. Melodically a masterpiece and I love the progression of the chords/melodies.

My only critique personally is I found the mix a bit dull, compressing your high end too much on the master or something? Doesn't need to be raspy but definitely needs to be boosted for future reference.

The other comment regarding the hats being too busy, I don't agree. I think the hats are the best part of the drum track.

Liftek responds:

Thanks dude! I feel flattered, yeah I was trying to create an energetic and at the same time melodic piece as I also adore these specific features in other music tracks, I think I have a personal preference for compressing the high end a bit more than usual, in my mind it creates some kind of a pressured air feeling which I think matches with particular styles of music but I will definitely keep your words in mind, it's always valuable if someone leaves detailed reviews!

Took me to the 1990's. Reminds me of the old dance/rave music. Very good :D Just very simple and no effort to master by the sounds of it.

X-500 responds:

Wow! Thx very much! ;3

Made me think of Terraria for some reason? :D

It's pretty dirty I like it!

SamuraiOwl responds:

Haha I have NO idea why this would make you think of Terraria. Thanks though, I really enjoyed slapping this together.

The tags "Piss" and "Stink" are the reason this got 5 stars for an accurate description of the Geordie Underground

pity the metro logo I picked is too small for the disc thingy

Had a listen through your few latest this one stood out the most.

Never give up when you have things in the pipeline, go back to them every opportunity you get. As per your description they can end up being your best.

As far as dubstep goes, this hasn't got a thing out of place. It's a fantastic example of the genre and a pleasure to listen to given I stopped listening to dubstep a long time ago. Love the tempo change after the second drop. Kept it interesting for sure.

SamuraiOwl responds:

THANK YOU SO MUCH DUDE, you have no idea how much I appreciate that!!

Took me back 10 years immediately. Wish music in this style was still around. Fantastic track man!

DJSpyroof responds:

Thanks! There's still a fair amount of people that make this kind of music. Follow my YouTube for more :)

I have nothing to say about the music. It's amazing and a fantastic example of its genre.

All I want to say is life goes on and I wish you the best getting through your struggle at the moment. It sucks and music is a fantastic escape.

Shifterhead responds:

Aww I appreciate that but that relationship Im happy to say is in the past. I am now with someone I absolutely love. Thank you.

How anyone can give this less than 5 stars is beyond me. Not knowing how the arrangement is going to be after each break, the changes definitely kept me guessing. Very unique!

For a critique, maybe look at automating your snare volume where it's not appropriate for it to be loud. Makes sense during most of the sequences but it's a bit loud at the third section around 1:44.

All things psytrance. All the elements i'd expect in the genre.

My only critique is I wasn't a fan of the kick, something softer would have made the other elements stand out more, especially given your other percussion is softer than I'd expect in a psytrance track but fit well and don't overpower everything else like the kick does.

Orrphoiz responds:

I like it when kicksies go BOOM! c:

I'll keep this in mind for future psy projects c:

Been producing a while on and off. Have a youtube channel with the same name if you'd like to see music/gaming content :D
