Slide notes. I can see exactly what you've done and it sounds incredible. Really nice and simple touch to improve a melody ten fold.

Main thing that stands out to me is the percussion, it's lovely and that kick hits nice and hard.

Other than making the melody slightly different in each drop. You could have just shortened the track to get rid of any repetitiveness. Hope the judges don't take any of that into account because the track is fantastic.

Good luck in the round!

Drak02 responds:

Thanks for the feedback! I’m pretty proud of this one. I’m thinking of maybe shortening the first drop cause that’s the most repetitive one, and it doesn’t need to be that long, and then reuploading because I still have a lot of time before judging starts

EDIT: made it shorter

Sick :D No complaints

4/5 because you play fortnite.

In all seriousness, beat is solid. Lyrics could be clearer in future songs. Good melody to the whole thing

DJPixelCumMusic responds:

the song is supposed to be ironically bad but glad you thought it was actually good, lol.

Mix isn't great i'm afraid. Hate giving negative feedback don't get me wrong. But I can make out drums & noise. Not sure how many guitars you've got playing, maybe it's just the one but you need to put some heavy EQ on your instruments. Can make out a bass, it compliments the guitar but it's not massively distinguishable.

It's a shame because the intro was really promising.

Bass is sexy as is the clapsnare. Really love the effects and individual pieces of this most wouldn't pay attention to. Use of filters and sweeps just gives so much atmosphere in the buildups

Beautiful, nothing really much to say about it. Absense of drums isn't an issue. As it gets more epic a few crashes would be suitable if you decide to continue it :D

SharkwithSideburns responds:

Thanks a bunch! :))) I'll definitely see how it sounds with some crashes, thanks for the feedback 😄

Too loud, great constructive feedback for a 1.5 score.

Since I know where the volume control is, let's review this track :D Interesting mix of trap/dubstep here. Percussion is cliche and what you'd expect from a trap track. Wobbles and bass suggest otherwise. You've pulled it off well, mastering is great. Love the background vocals although not sure if them not being so clear is intentional

Structure threw me off unfortunately, breakdown into a buildup that goes nowhere? Tempo increase was cool but the song didn't feel like a conclusion, felt like more could have come of it which is a shame.

Great effort

KayozKun responds:

Thank you so much for your well thought out and constructive criticism! Honestly, I had no Idea what to put for a second Drop. I could've copy and paste the first drop, but I think that would make the track just drag for too long. But I guess ending the song right after the second buildup was a bad idea too haha. Again, thank you for the high score although this is my first "real" trap track. :)

Well mastered, great basses and percussion. Love the chord choice, melodic dubstep is PROPER dubstep!

NOmki responds:

thanks :D and i agree

Yeah I agree with previous reviews. Even introduction of a little bass would have improved the middle of the loop.

Been producing a while on and off. Have a youtube channel with the same name if you'd like to see music/gaming content :D
